291563Ok so first and foremost, fans of Salvatore are going to want to read this one.

Realms of Magic follows some of the more famous magical creations in the Realms, from the creation of the infamous onyx statue of Guenhwyvar panther companion to Drizz’t Do’Urden, to the creation of the very Moonshaes themselves by the Earthmother goddess and the creation of the very first Moonwell.

But we also follow some more noteworthy (or fool hardy) characters and their escapades.  Such as a young woman overcome with rage turning to black magic to her her vengeance, and following a side story of Alais and Dragonbait of the Finders Stone trilogy.

Definitely an exciting read, if only because I’m a Salvatore fan myself and it was facinating reading about Gwen’s creation.

Looking forward to another anthology that promises to be just as engaging, Realms of Valor is next.
